Terms of Service

1. Purpose of the service

TentenQuiz is a broad-audience educational service for learning everyday vocabulary through short quizzes, wrong-answer review, and a personal wordbook. Materials support general language study and do not guarantee an examination score or particular outcome.

2. Using the service

You may use the service for personal learning in compliance with law and these terms. Core quizzes require no account. Settings and records may be stored in your browser; completing a 25-question topic for the first time may create an encrypted cloud backup that can be restored with a recovery code.

Users under 13 should ask a guardian for help when personal information or an external service is involved.

3. User responsibilities

You must not disrupt operation, bypass security, distribute malware, make excessive automated requests, scrape or redistribute content at scale, infringe rights, generate invalid ad interactions, or use the service unlawfully.

4. Content and intellectual property

Rights in service design, arrangement, compiled data, explanations, and operator-created content belong to the operator or lawful owners. No claim is made over individual words or general facts. Permission is required for copying, reselling, redistributing, or building a separate database beyond personal learning.

5. Advertising and external services

The service may display Google AdSense or other third-party advertising to support operating costs. Cookies may be used as explained in the Privacy policy. External links and services follow their providers’ terms; the operator does not guarantee content or results supplied by third parties.

6. Changes and interruption

Content or functions may be changed or temporarily suspended for improvement, maintenance, security, or unavoidable operational reasons. Material changes will be announced where reasonably possible.

7. Learning information and limits of responsibility

Reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate, natural material, but regional, contextual, or technical errors may occur. Do not use the service as the sole basis for professional translation or medical, legal, financial, or official documents.

You are responsible for keeping the recovery code secret. Without both the old device and code, anonymous backups cannot be found through a name or email. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for loss caused by disasters, communications failures, device/browser settings, third parties, or a user’s violation of these terms, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Restrictions

Use may be restricted when a user violates these terms or law, or threatens service safety and operation. Reasons and a way to object will be provided where appropriate unless urgent security concerns prevent it.

9. Changes to these terms

Terms may be revised for changes in the service, law, or policy. Important revisions are announced in the service or by changing the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties will first try to resolve disputes through discussion; unresolved matters are handled by the competent courts under Korean law. Mandatory laws in a user’s place of residence remain applicable where required.
